Get to know nature and how much fun it can be in Outdoor Adventure Camp. Campers learn to make the most of the great outdoors by participating in cool outdoor activities. Fayetteville Parks and Recreation partners with Lewis and Clark and Fayetteville Disc Association to bring you an exciting summer camp experience.
Activities planned include riding mountain bikes along Lake Fayetteville's 5.5 mile nature trail, climbing Lewis and Clark's 25-foot rock wall, and maneuvering a kayak in Lake Fayetteville. Adventurers also fish, hike, go orienteering, and play disc golf and ultimate Frisbee.
At the conclusion of the week, campers will participate in the Outdoor Adventure Games. In this final event, campers utilize their newly learned skills to reach the finish line.
Each camper receives a t-shirt and a bike helmet.
All camp sessions are 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. Campers may be dropped off as early as 8:30 a.m. and picked up no later than 12:30 p.m. Camp activities happen throughout Lake Fayetteville and Veterans Park, and drop off is at the Lake Fayetteville Marina (1330 E Lake Fayetteville Road, Fayetteville, AR 72764).

You can get signed up for summer camps by registering online. Registration for all summer camps begins March 4.
